About This Website
Summer House, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities, providing meaningful programs, community integration, and compassionate care. Their website was built to share their mission with the world — connecting families, supporters, and community partners with the impactful work Summer House does every day.
The Challenge
Summer House needed a website that captured the heart of their mission while serving multiple audiences: families researching care options for loved ones, potential donors and supporters, and community partners. The site needed to be warm and welcoming while also being informative and easy to navigate for visitors who may be going through a difficult and emotional search process.
Our Approach
We designed a heartfelt, purpose-driven WordPress website that leads with Summer House’s mission and the real impact they make in people’s lives. The design uses warm visuals and compassionate language to connect emotionally with visitors, while the site architecture ensures families and supporters can quickly find the information they need. Accessibility was a key consideration throughout the build.
